We all have moments in our lives that shape who we become. For me, this journey began long before I ever touched a coffee cherry in Central America, it began in the military.
There was an unwritten rule that every new recruit had to experience: in addition to a full field bag, he carried something extra. Coffee. And he made sure that a morning cup was ready for the commander and the entire unit. It was a small tradition, but it had the power to create moments of peace even on days when nothing else was peaceful.
Over time, I realized that coffee for me is not just a way to start the day.
It was a ritual that connected people, built relationships, opened conversations. And after leaving the army, I knew I didn't want to give up this passion. I wanted to understand everything. From the soil where a bean grows to the moment someone makes their first cup of coffee at home.
That's why we recently set off to Central America. Not as tourists. Not with the plan of "seeing the plantation and moving on". We didn't want hotel excursions or pre-prepared experiences. We rented a car and decided to drive through individual parts of the country, how coffee really lives. On roads that no agency shows, through mountains, villages and farms where people work, whose stories few people hear.
We had the opportunity to visit farms at different altitudes, micro-regions with their own character, and we talked to growers who dedicate their entire lives to coffee. We tasted dozens and dozens of different coffees. And all of this confirmed to us that coffee is not just a product. It is a culture, an effort, families, traditions, years of work and a thousand decisions.
To bring you coffee that truly reflects our philosophy, we have teamed up with experts who share our values. They are professionals who are among the top in the industry and thanks to their experience, we can offer you the best today.
This is the beginning of our brand.
And we have more journeys, projects and stories ahead of us. Because we believe in it. And we want everyone who makes our coffee to feel more than just caffeine.
Thank you for being with us.
